One statement piece at a time
A printed bomber, wide cargo trousers and bright sneakers make three focal points. Keep one, bring the other two back to neutral.
The same goes for logos. One readable logo per outfit is enough to place the wardrobe; two start to look like a shop window.
Proportions do all the work
Loose on top, cleaner at the bottom, or the reverse. Two wide volumes stacked erase the silhouette and age the outfit by ten years in one photo.
A hem breaking at the right point on the shoe changes the look more than the brand of the trousers. It is also the easiest detail to check before buying.
